About our Baby Care Facility 0-2 year oldsOur Baby Room is a home from home, having separate areas within the nursery including a dedicated sleep room, milk kitchen, nappy change facility and garden. We recognise the importance of babies being nurtured in a homely environment. We have cosy spaces for “hiding”, exploring and resting in, low level units and a small sofa for our cruising babies to learn to take their next steps and lots of natural, open ended resources to support the babies curiosity. Our baby room staff have all received additional baby specific training, aimed at best supporting the development of 0-2 year olds and we have designed our baby room in a way that encourages their natural curiosity both inside and out. Outdoor play and exploration is very important to us. We spend time outside with the children everyday, both in our spacious grounds and the local Devizes community.We take the babies out to the local park, Devizes library and to feed the ducks at the famous Devizes Crammer Pond. The babies also have their own dedicated outdoor space, directly accessible from their room.
