About Our Devizes Pre-School: LIttle Stars 3-4 year oldsWelcome to our Little Stars Room.
This is a small group, which allows a gentle introduction into Pre-School, with around 10 children accompanied by 2 qualified adults.
They have both a “messy” play area and a larger carpeted area within their room allowing a wide variety of play and learning opportunities to take place simultaneously. You will often find an array of activities happening across the room from “moon dust”, to early mark making, to cuddles with a story in the “cosy corner” while train tracks are being constructed somewhere in-between! Children join our Little Stars (Pre-School) room when they turn 3 years old and stay here for up to a year (depending on their birth month), before moving to our Rising Stars Room (Pre-School) for their essential introduction to “school readiness”. Our 2 Pre-School groups join together everyday for outdoor play and learning, as well as for the later part of each day when they enjoy afternoon play and tea together (from around 3pm). We follow the same learning and development planning from babies through to school leavers. With an individualised learning plan based heavily around child interests, parental input, and great attention to learning and development needs, we endeavour to ensure that every child in our care reaches their individual potential.
